CERTIFIED SENIOR ADVISOR - EAST SIDE
Erin has always been passionate about helping others and driven to see them find happiness. No matter what situation you may find yourself in, you can count on her for these qualities. She owes her degree in Psychology from California’s Chico State University (class of 2004) to the same compassion and focus. Three years ago, she relocated to Washington when her husband was presented with a fabulous career opportunity. They, along with their 4 little dogs (Coco, Carl, Bruce, and Cowboy), eagerly made the trek from Sacramento, California, and have since fallen in love with their new home state.
Growing up, Erin was fortunate to spend much time in the company of her grandparents. She loves her memories of sitting around the dining table at the family farmhouse in Northern Michigan that her great-great-grandparents built. Listening to their endless stories of present and parted family members and the ways in which they experienced the changing of the world around them gave her sincere appreciation, respect, and tenderness for seniors. Her love of family led her to make the career transition from medical device representative to a family advisor in multiple assisted living communities. The simple acts of sharing morning coffee with them and listening to their life’s story are privileges which she recognizes as opportunities to connect with them on a deeper level.
As Erin’s career blossomed, she was inspired to help families in a deeper way. She knows how overwhelming the process of planning a new and final home for a beloved senior is and wanted to help families from the very start to closure of this next chapter in their lives. Erin has personally helped place both of her grandmothers in assisted living communities. She knows exactly what it is like to be that family member that is overwhelmed by emotions and life-changing decisions to be made, and that it is hard to even know where to begin the process. Erin has fallen in love with her industry and the caring and supportive role that she plays in the challenging process of selecting an assisted living community for your loved one.
